As a Green MEP, transparency is very important to me, so this page gives you an insight into which stakeholders I have met and an overview of the expenses of the office lump sum. You can also find out what I do to reduce CO2 emissions from my travels.
As a Member of the European Parliament, I regularly have to travel long distances. I try to travel as far as possible by train in order to minimise the environmental impact of my travel. Since taking up office on 10.11.17 I have already travelled 61,360 km by train. Thus I have already consumed 10.431 kg CO2 less than if I had travelled this distance by plane. An average grown beech would need about 844 years to reduce this amount of CO2. [Status April 2019]
